Twelve Boredom-Busting School Holiday Hits Kids Will Love!

As far as school holidays go, the third term holidays are pretty much the worst of the lot. Not only are they frustratingly close to the end of the year, but the weather’s still a little too unpredictable for making plans outside.

Librarians, we know you’re superheroes all year round, but here’s your chance to save the day yet again for busy parents and bored kids. We’re declaring these school holidays a boredom-free zone – and we’ve selected twelve of our most popular movies and TV shows, just for kids.

The twelve titles we’ve featured in this post are available right now, and if you order them now, they’ll arrive just in time for the school holidays. However, we’ll also be linking to other related products that aren’t out just yet, so if you’re unsure, take a look at the release date on each title before you place your order.

So – let’s get on with it! There’s a little bit of everything here, from classics to the latest releases. But they’ve all got one thing in common – they all get the Digitales boredom-buster seal of approval!

In a city full of animals, Buster Moon, an optimistic koala, hosts a singing competition in a last-ditch attempt to save his beloved, but crumbling old theatre. From hundreds of auditions, five finalists are selected. Who will be declared the winner…and how will they react when they find out Buster doesn’t actually have the prize money he promised?

Sing is imaginative, fun – and a little surreal in the best possible way! It’s loaded with charming characters, the setting is vibrant, and it’s absolutely chockers with songs you know and secretly (or maybe not-so-secretly) love that will have you itching to sing along. We reviewed Sing here on the Digitales blog, so make sure you take a look!
