Pagford Village life is not what it seems. Interesting to observe the clear divide between the needs of ‘old’ Pagford and the newer Fields Estate. Also contemplate how the underlying greed and bigotry driving the Parish Council decision making process could alter the community.

You feel a connect to the traditional English Village life and are comfortable peeling off the layers to see more revealed.

How the differences from the novel, including the work, background and personal relationships surrounding the primary character of Barry Fairbrother, affect the plot.
